The General Supervisor of the University Museum Administration, Prof. Fahd Al-Malki, has been elected member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Historical Society at King Saud University, in addition to his work as a supervisor for the branch of the Saudi Historical Society at Umm Al-Qura University. It is worth noting that the Saudi Historical Society is the oldest society that has been established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Historical Society is responsible for the supervision of all activities, events, conferences, scientific meetings, and seminars in the different universities in the kingdom. However, the society's main work focuses on serving the history of the country and highlighting its civilization.
