His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, issued a Ministerial Decision assigning the CEO of Wadi Makkah Company for Technology, Dr. Faisal Allaf, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi National Institute of Health, which is headed by His Excellency. This comes in accordance with the decision made by the Strategic Committee in the Council of Economic Affairs and Development regarding the approval of a health transformation program that involves the National Research Center.
The Board of Directors performs the tasks of supervising the institute, establishing the general policy which it should pursue, adopting the strategic and operational plans and the organizational structure, and approving the annual reports. The duties of the Board of Directors also include monitoring and evaluating the implementation of policies, strategies and work plans, as well as their impacts. This is in addition to issuing administrative and financial regulations and research grant regulations.
