Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Shaeri, Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies signed an agreement with Dr. Ali bin Mosleh al-Matrafi, Dean of the College of Education, in the presence of the Institute's vice deans and a number of the Institute's staff members. The agreement was signed to establish the Continuing Professional Development Unit for teachers and educational leaders.  

Such unit aims at the cooperation between UQU Institute of Consulting Research and Studies and the College of Education to provide all educational sectors at all various levels with professional training services.

At the end of signing the agreement, Dr. Al-Shaeri explained that the Unit aimed at the development of work efficiency level through specialized professional training. He also commended the great care, thorough follow-up and unlimited support provided by the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri bin Ma'tooq Assas, to all the Institute's activities and programs.
