Last Thursday, at his office, His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, received the Consul General of the Republic of Gambia in Jeddah, Mr. Ibrahim Impalu. The aim of the meeting was to enhance cooperation with the universities of Gambia and to discuss the conditions of the Gambian scholarship students.
His Excellency Prof. Bafail welcomed the cooperation with various academic and educational authorities in Gambia.
In turn, His Excellency the Consul General expressed his thanks for the efforts made by the university in disseminating the correct path and moderate thought among the people of the Islamic world. Moreover, he expressed his desire to increase the fields of scientific and development cooperation with Umm Al-Qura University.
