The UQU Vice President for Education Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Babalghaith, on behalf of His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, reviewed the health security program offered by the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, represented by the Department of Training, in cooperation with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, represented by the Health Academy. The program was held at the University Headquarters in Al-Aziziyah on Monday, 7 Rajab, 1441 A.H.
Dr. Babalghaith listened to a presentation about the program. He then assessed the training halls, and inspected the progress of the training process and its mechanism of implementation. He also checked the efforts of the department in making the health security program a success, in accordance with the highest quality standards in this regard, taking into consideration all health requirements at the theoretical and practical levels for the security personnel in the health facilities.
On his part, the UQU Assistant Vice President for Development and the Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, Prof. Khalid bin Yusuf Barqawi, appreciated the support and attention paid by UQU's president to the programs of the college and department. He referred to the stimulating effect of such support in making the department achieve more success, according to the Saudi Vision 2030.
It should be mentioned that the health security program was launched four weeks ago to qualify about 145 trainees in the field of security, professional safety, first aid, communication skills, and fitness, in addition to English medical terminologies, to work in the field of security and safety in the health facilities with high skills and efficiency.
