In compliance with the directives of the  UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas, the Acting UQU President and the Vice President for Academic Development and Community Service, Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi has visited on Monday Jumada Al-Oula 2, 1438 H Wadi Makkah's Startup Center. Upon attending there, he was received by the founder of one of the startups Dr. Anas Basalama, Director of Public Relations and Media at Wadi Makkah Dr. Majid Abdullah, the acting Deputy Executive Director  at Wadi Makkah Company Eng. Saeed Al-Qarni, the Dean of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Dr. Wadei Barqawi and the Supervisor of the Intellectual Property Office Dr. Muaffaq bin Mohamed bin Ahmed Oreijah.

After that, Dr. Hani listened to an elaborate presentation about Wadi Makkah Startups and checked on work process in the company along with the methods of teaching special skills for the students of the Computer College in the valley and their capacity to keep up with the reality.

At the conclusion of the visit, the UQU Vice President for Academic Development and Community Service extended his thanks and appreciation to all the workers at the Startups Center  for their efforts which contributed to turn the researches into tangible products. He added that the University is replete with the creative outstading minds in the different scientific and research specialties which led the university to achieve a prominent status and to be a leader in this field.  He lauded support and attention paid by the UQU President to all innovators and talented persons.
