His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, received at his office on Sunday, 29 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., the ambassador of the Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom, Mr. Ghulam Moshi, with the aim to boost cooperation with Bangladeshi universities and discuss affairs of the scholarship students. The event was attended by the supervisor of the Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmad Babalghaith.
His Excellency UQU President welcomed the cooperation, stressing that the university will provide support in this regard with knowledge competencies and scientific curricula. He referred to the importance of promoting knowledge and exchanging educational experience with all sectors.
On his part, the Bangladeshi ambassador expressed his thanks for the efforts provided by the Saudi Kingdom in teaching the students of the Muslim world the correct balanced methodology and the moderate Islamic thought. He then expressed his desire to increase the fields of scientific and development cooperation.
