Based on the vision of the University College in Al-Leith to actively contribute to improving and enhancing the capabilities and the skills of the graduates from various scientific departments, the Department of Mathematics, under the patronage of His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Maliki, organized a training course entitled, "Writing Using LaTeX".

The course was presented by Dr. Ali Ibrahim Al-Hassani and Dr. Abdul-Hamid Farraj Sayed on Sunday and Monday, 22 and 23 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H.

During this course, LaTeX was introduced: its theoretical and practical uses, and the basics of its various menus, as a tool for writing and editing articles and scientific research papers. The participating students also benefited from the most important features of the program by writing short texts in various specializations.
