The Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance, launched the fourth edition of the ‘Waai [Awareness]’ award, which targets university students and broad segments of the Saudi and Gulf society. The award aims at enhancing health awareness among community members, and activating health initiatives with the participating bodies.
The categories of the Waai Award are divided into four main themes: infographics, motion graphics, short films, and advertising photography.
The contest includes the participation of individuals, universities, schools, malls and local content makers in the Saudi Kingdom and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The contest’s prizes total a million Saudi riyals, divided among 50 winners in the various categories.
The Ministry began receiving entries through the official website of the award (www.waaiaward.com), on which all the conditions and mechanisms for participation are defined.
