The UQU College of Engineering in Leith has congratulated Adel al-Shaeri and Fadi F. al-Harbi, students of the college, on winning the Hajj Medal for excellence at providing outstanding services for pilgrims, in such a manner that had a positive effect on the Hajj General Plan.
Dr. Abdulaziz R. Sorouji, UQU Vice President for Educational affairs, has honored 79 scouts with the Hajj Medal for 1435-Hajj season. The medal is presented by the Ministry of Interior (MOI) for scouts. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Abdullah S. al-Fahad, head of the Saudi Scouts Society, Dr. Amr T. al-Saqaf, Dean of Student Affairs, as well as vice-deans. The ceremony was held at King Abdulaziz Secondary Auditorium in Abdiyah Campus.
