Today marks the launching of the events of the Skill Development Program at the institute. The programs of the Cultural Season section included:
- A lecture entitled, "Grammar and Morphology Irregularities: Aspects to Consider when Teaching Arabic Language to Non-Native Speakers", presented by His Excellency Prof. Al-Mitwalli Mahmoud.
- A training course entitled, "Grammatical Analysis for Selected Qur'anic Texts", presented by Dr. Muhammad Al-Qurashi.
The Student Activities section included all the activities specified in the program plan, such as computer and elocution skills, public speaking, dictation, as well as reading and fun games in the specially prepared halls and labs.
The various sections of the Activities Program received a good turnout and interaction on the part of the institute's students. This is because of the diversity in skills, training courses and scientific lectures it included.
The Activities Program will be held throughout the second semester on Tuesdays, on a weekly basis from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
