His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, issued an administrative decision to establish a new administration under the name General Administration of Cybersecurity, which will be directly affiliated to His Excellency.
The decision is based on the university's vision of the necessity of forming and developing a safe technological environment that ensures the provision of a high-quality educational process whose outcomes are in line with the requirements of the labor market. This is in order to be in harmony with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and to carry out the practices, rules, policies, and procedures according to the national standards set by the National Cybersecurity Authority.
