His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, said, "The fourth meeting of the leaders of higher education, which was recently held at Princess Nourah University under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al Sheikh, was a road map for the implementation of the new system for Saudi universities, discussing all the development details for the organizational structures of Saudi universities and enhancing their level of operational efficiency."

His Excellency stressed that the meeting was in line with the strategies and requirements of the new system for Saudi universities in contributing to national development. This is achieved by harnessing scientific research and its outcomes in the service of the community, and by providing professional and practical programs that are compatible with the requirements of the modern labor market, according to the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.

His Excellency the President of the University praised the unceasing support and care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince (may Allah safeguard them) to the education sector and its research outcomes, most prominent of which is the specialized research in Hajj and Umrah offered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research. He pinpointed the support and backing of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al Sheikh, for the university initiatives and activities, praising the good organization and role played by the Director of Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University, Dr. Enas Al-Eissa.
