The Endorphin Team Wins First Place in the (Sports for All Challenge)

The "Endorphin" team of the Institute of Creativity and Entrepreneurship ranked first in the "Sports for All Challenge" organized by the "Saudi Sports for All" federation, in Riyadh. The team won in the competition with over more than 17 participating teams from various Saudi and American universities.

The Head of the Saudi Sports for All federation, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Al-Walid bin Talal, presented the prize of 10 thousand dollars for first place to the UQU "Endorphin" team. As for the second place, it was awarded to the "150 Minutes" team from the University of Southern Illinois, whereas the third place was the share of "Your Health Is in Your Steps" team from the University of Hail.

Prince Khalid bin Al-Walid bin Talal said, “The (Sports for All Challenge) competition seeks to support the new generation of Saudi youth by creating new ideas to stimulate and encourage the community's practice of sport activities. This stems from our belief in the magnitude of creative capabilities and talents of our young women and men. We are striving to enable them to become leaders in promoting healthy lifestyles."

The competition was held in nine different cities, namely: Madinah, Majmaah, Makkah, Al-Zhahran, Riyadh, Hail, and Jeddah. It also included two American cities, namely Fairfax in Virginia and Carbondale in Illinois.

It is noteworthy that the "Sports for All Challenge" competition aims at raising awareness of the importance of sports in the society, along with increasing the rate of individuals who practice sports in the kingdom from 13% to 40%.
