The Endorphin Team of the UQU Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship qualified for the finals of the competition ‘Sports for All Challenge’, surpassing more than 17 teams participating from all over the world in the competition which is organized by the Saudi Federation of Sports in Riyadh.
The competition ‘Sports for All Challenge’, aims to increase awareness about the importance of sports in the community, and produce healthy sports initiatives that contribute to increasing the number of individuals practicing sport activity in the Saudi Kingdom from 13% to 40%. This is in line with the objectives of the Quality of Life Program, which is within the framework of the vision of the kingdom of 2030.
It is to be noted that the Endorphin team launched the initiative of ‘Participate in various sports activities’ to support the idea of the competition. The last event of the initiative was the ‘Walking Day’ to support the campaign of ‘16 Days of Activism to Combat Violence Against Women’, with the participation of more than 25 female students. The team is also concerned with the preparedness and qualification of the UQU male and female students to become active leaders and to contribute to disseminating health awareness to ensure the availability of sustainable sport communities.
