On Sunday, Rabee' I 26, 1438H, at the Department of Chemistry of Jomoum University College, a workshop was held under the theme: "Success Engineering". The workshop was attended by Dr. Sami A. al-Harbi, Head of the Department of Chemistry of the University College, and Dr. Hamed M. al-Saedi, Supervisor General of the Scientific Activity.

The workshop touched on a number of topics; namely: concept of success; failure as a step towards success; discovering self-stimulation (which varies from one person to another); how to find, revive, ignite and satisfy our craving; effective vs. affective personality, and the impact of each on the surrounding community; basics and ways of successful change; importance of writing down personal goals and objectives, making sure that such goals are applicable, viable and attainable.

The workshop was characterized by mutual interaction between trainees and the trainer, as was manifested in the several discussions that went on all through the workshop. It was quite clear to all participants how beneficial such workshops are for students, as they help him define their goals and the steps leading to them.

At last, the Department Head thanked Mr. Ibrahim al-Rahili, the accredited trainer, for his effort and abundant information, and extended thanks to all participants.
