Consulting Research Institute Takes Part in Universities Conference on Vision 2030

Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), represented by the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, has taken part in a conference themed "Universities' Role in Achieving Saudi Vision 2030" which was organized by Qassim University under the auspices of Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud Emir of Qassim Region.

The institue particiaptes with a research paper on the third mission assigned for universities to achieve goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.

Addressing the conference, Dean of the Institute Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al Shaeri said the event is important in order to activate the universities' role to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030 and to maintain interaction between universities.

He added that such role would set tasks and roles expected to be carried out by the Saudi universities in addition to mechanisms needed to implement related initiatives and plans in collaboration with other universities.

Al Shaeri added that the UQU, represented by the institute, is keen on participating in talks and discussions intended to serve the homeland.

He hailed support given by President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas and Vice-President for Business & Innovation Dr. Nabil bin Abdul Qader Koshak.
