The College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies at Umm Al-Qura University has organized, for the coming Tuesday, a scientific symposium entitled, ‘Efforts Exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Serve the Issues of the Arab World’. The symposium will be held at King Abdulaziz support hall and Al-Jafali Hall in the female section.
The symposium falls within the efforts of the university in promoting national loyalty, and displaying the efforts of the kingdom, represented by its wise leadership (may Allah support it), in serving the issues of the Arab world.
The Shura Council (Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia) Member and Head of the Arab Parliament, Dr Mashaal bin Fahm Al-Sulami, will deliver a lecture at the symposium, which will be chaired by the Vice Dean of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, Dr. Ibrahim bin Atiyyatullah Al-Sulami.
The symposium will review the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in establishing the World Arab League and its efforts in supporting the issues of the Arab World, in addition to its efforts in fighting terrorism and extremism.
