The Deanship of Scientific Research, represented by the Vice Deanship of Research Centers and Groups, held a research meeting, which was organized by the Social Science Research Center under the title, "Horizons for Developing Social Sciences Research", at the headquarters of the Deanship of Scientific Research in Al-Zahir (female section). The discussion centered on the 'Focus Group' in the colleges that falls within the scope of the work of the center.

The Focus Group comprised representatives from the College of Social Sciences, College Business Administration, College of Islamic Economics and Finance, and the Social Science Center at the Deanship of Scientific Research.

The meeting aimed at defining the fields and the mechanisms of developing and improving the research output in social sciences, through a focused discussion. This was the direct goal of the research meeting, which aimed at improving the chances of supporting and financing social science research and forming productive research teams.

This meeting falls within the continuous efforts of the Deanship of Scientific Research in finding mechanisms of improving research output, and forming proficient research teams to develop research projects that meet the requirements for support and financing.
