Umm Al-Qura University continued its celebration of the World Arabic Language Day with a package of programs, lectures, and courses, within the framework of the “Arabic Language and Artificial Intelligence” exhibition. A number of training courses, seminars, scientific lectures and workshops were organized, including various topics, in both the male and female sections.

Seven database training courses were launched, as well as other courses on the topics of “Search Engines at the Fingertips of Arabic Students”, “Presentations, Modern Technology, and Rhetoric”, and “Modern Techniques in Contemporary Media Discourse”.

A poetic morning event was also presented, in addition to four seminars on Arabic language and artificial intelligence. In addition, general lectures were held on the topics, “The Intelligence of Arabic”, “Artificial Intelligence, Translation, and Philology”, “Establishing a Comparative Humanistic View During the Second Era of Arabic Translation: a Reading of the Translation of Sulayman Al-Bustani”, “The Arabic Letter in Printing and Computers”, “Aspects of Employing Artificial Intelligence in the Service of Arabic Sciences”, and “Arabic Language and Thinking”.

The events will continue next week, when four lectures will be held on the topics of “Indirect Semantics Methods”, “Al-Jurjani and Grammar”, “Theses of Contemporary Researchers”, “Arabic Language in the Iranian Cultural Component”, and “Arabic Language and Common Sense”.
