Under the patronage of the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the university celebrated the fifth anniversary of the pledge of allegiance to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (may Allah protect him), under the slogan: "Loyalty Is Renewed, and Welfare Continues". The event included a rhetoric ceremony and an accompanying exhibition, organized by the Department of Public Relations and Media in collaboration with the Department of Museums and the College of Designs, on Sunday, 4 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., in King Abdulaziz Historical Hall in Al-Abdiyyah.
The ceremony was attended by a number of university male and female vice deans, the male and female deans of the colleges, and a number of representatives of the government sectors in Makkah. It included a variety of artistic programs offered by the university departments.
