UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas opened on Monday Rbaie Al-Thani 4, 1438 H a Drive-Thru Coffee Shop "Transit Cafe" designed in a modern style at the university city in Abdyia under the supervision of the Deanship of Students Affairs. Attending the event were the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Sorouji, the Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Amro bin Taha Al-Saggaf , the Vice Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Talal Mothana and a number of the affiliates of the Public Relations and Media Department and the Deanship of Students Affairs.
Following the opening ceremony, the UQU President listened to an elaborate presentation by the Investor in the site about the services provided by the coffee shop for the affiliates and visitors of the university including; cold and hot drinks and ways of serving fresh juries and the cold and dry food, underscoring that they are going to offer the best services for the students and all visitors of the university.
For his part the UQU President Dr. Assas expressed his pleasure for what he saw in the investment site and the distinctive services provided for the university affiliates, students and visitors praising the role assumed by the Deanship of Students Affairs and the Investment Department to upgrade level of services provided for students and create the proper educational environment inside the campus. He extended his thanks to the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, the Dean of Students Affairs and the Deanship Vice Deans for the efforts exerted by them in the field of students services and programs.
Within the same vein, the Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Taha bin Amro Al-Saggaf said this drive-thru service site is one of a series of similar sites to be opened during the coming period by famous food brands adding that "We always work according to the directives of the UQU President to provide all services and facilities which contribute to supporting the educational process and creating the proper environment for the students to help upgrade their educational level" he explained extending his thanks to Dr. Assas and Dr. Al-Sorouji for their unremitting support provided for all the activities and programs of the Deanship.
