The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, at UQU, called on researchers and affiliates of the government agencies to submit summaries of their papers to the 17th Forum for Hajj and Umrah Research, to be held next Shaaban in Madinah.
Dean of the Institute, Dr. Hamza Ghulman said the deadline for receiving the summaries will be Friday Rabie Al-Thani 15, 1438 H and that participants can submit their summaries to the following email ([email protected]).
Dr. Ghulman stated that the forum will be discussing 8 topics including; Hajj and Umrah jurisprudence (Figh), management, economics, construction,engineering, environment, health, media, awareness, technological applications, impact of initiatives in developing services and utilities, social engagement in serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors of the Prophet's Mosques.
Further, he made clear that, so far as the papers to be presented in the forum are concerned, priority shall be given to those that contribute to raising KPIs, in pursuit to achieve National Transformation Objectives 2020 related to Hajj and Umrah, and those that reiterate the importance of consolidated efforts for better hosting of flocks of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, and facilitating the procedures necessary in this respect, in addition to providing high-quality services to them.
