Dr. Bahakeem said that the Campaign was within the framework of continuous cooperation and coordination between the University Clinic Center and the General Directorate of Health Affairs in Makkah. He noted that the University Clinic Center participated with the General Directorate of Health Affairs in Makkah in such campaign through vaccination of the targeted category, i.e.  children under the age of five, by the auditors of the Center. The campaign was determined to be implemented in two phases; each would take five days and start on Sunday 3rd Rabi'II 1438H and 15th JumadaI 1438H consecutively.

Within the same vein, Dr. Bahakeem added that the University Clinic Center played its positive role in the preventive context via provision of the best awareness and educational messages to all UQU students and affiliates in specific and to the community in general. This was achieved through activation of events that aimed at reinforcement of health awareness against common diseases, as health education was considered one of the most significant pillars of disease prevention.

On the other hand, Dr. Bahakeem expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, for his great support for and attention towards the University Clinic Center. He also thanked Dr. Yasser Shosho, UQU Vice-President, for sponsoring the campaign and for his continuous follow up of the Center's work and activities which contributed to raising the level of the Center's curative and preventive services to all UQU students and affiliates, as well as those who deserve treatment there.

In the same context, Dr. Yasser bin Suleiman Shosho, UQU Vice-President, stressed the necessity of participation in awareness events and activities that educate the university community. He also commended the role played by the University Clinic Center, which reflected the high quality of its services directed to UQU affiliates.
