HE UQU President Reviews the Arrangements and Preparations for a Forum on the Holy Mosque

HE Dr. Bakri bin Ma'toug Assas, UQU President, visited on Wednesday, 13/07/1437 H the UQU dormitories in Al Abdiyah, to review the arrangements and preparations made by College of Sharia and Islamic Studies for holding a forum on the Holy Mosque, its virtues, morals. The visit was witnessed by Dr. Mohammed al-Sahli, the Vice-Dean of College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Mr. Khalid Morsi, Director of Public Relations Department and a number of the members of the committee responsible for organizing the forum to be held on

HE UQU President affirmed that this forum organized by College of Sharia and Islamic Studies comes in alignment with the UQU's belief in its religious mission derived from the Holy Mosque's mission towards the Islamic Ummah. He added that this forum reflects the UQU's keenness on the issues that concern Muslims in general. He also affirmed that the UQU cares about the Islamic world's concerns, especially under the current societal variations, noting that the scholars of the Islamic Ummah should discuss and investigate into such concerns in order to find effective solutions for them. He stressed the importance of cooperation with the General Presidency of the Holy Mosque and Prophet's Mosque.

HE UQU President said that UQU spares no effort to perform its scientific and societal role and assumes its responsibility in this regard for the good of its homeland and the Islamic Ummah. He gave many thanks to HE Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Essa, Minister of Education, for giving the green light to hold such forum and for his permanent support of all scientific and educational programs implemented by the UQU. He also gave thanks to the dean and the vice-deans of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies and to the organizers and those who participated in such educational forum, wishing that the forum would lead to the recommendations that would achieve the goals for which the forum was originally held.   

It is worth mentioning that the committee responsible for organizing such forum has made necessary preparations and arrangements very early in order to make it a success and produce it in the best form that suits the prestigious rank of UQU and its distinguished style in organizing such events and conferences.
