Deanship of Admission and Registration Organizes the Third Introductory Meeting for the Female Secondary School Students

The Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Direction, Guidance and Community Partnership organized the Third Introductory Meeting for a number of female secondary school students from different schools in Makkah, within a series of orientation meetings. The Deanship of Admission and Registration participated in the meeting in two different sessions, on Monday, 21 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H. The meeting was attended by seven female supervisors and more than forty students from different schools. The students were received by the team of the Admission Department, including the Head of the Department, Ms. Shadha Al-Thubaiti, and Ms. Rania Zain Al-Din. The meeting witnessed the participation of a number of relevant bodies, within the framework of the community partnership between the university and the schools located in the Makkah Province.

The work team of the Vice Deanship of Admission and Registration gave a video presentation explaining the conditions and criteria for admission to different undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the university. During the meeting, the specializations available for female students at Umm Al-Qura University were outlined, and the work team answered the questions raised by the female students about the different UQU colleges and departments.

Moreover, the Vice Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Fatimah Al-Ghamdi, stressed the importance of such meetings, which fulfill the aspirations of the female high school students in relation to Umm Al-Qura University. In addition, she expressed her thanks to the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Direction and Guidance for providing the female students with such an opportunity to hear an introduction to the university colleges and supportive services.
