Al-Leith University College, represented by His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Maliki, Their Excellencies the vice deans of the college, the heads of the departments, the deputy heads of the departments, the academic staff, and the employees, gratefully expressed their appreciation to His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Muhammad bin Salman (may Allah safeguard them), for their approval of the New University System. The new system constitutes a great milestone and a turning point in the development of universities to realize the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030. It covers many aspects of reform, development and creativity in the way the Saudi universities fulfill their national mission and in the development of the educational and research system, entrepreneurship and innovation, in a stimulative, competitive environment backed by disciplined independence. This will be implemented in accordance with the general policy of the Saudi Kingdom to fulfill the aspirations of the wise leadership towards the realization of the national transformation objective and promising vision of the kingdom.

Moreover, they also expressed their sincere congratulations to His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al Al-Sheikh, His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, and the UQU community on this occasion, which coincides with the qualitative leaps achieved by Umm Al-Qura University reflected on UQU's remarkable progress in the QS World University Rankings. Lastly, they implored Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) that the New University System will bear its desired results in the near future.
