Within the framework of launching the activities at the Department of Mathematics at Al-Leith University College, the first level female students presented an activity entitled, "My Career Is Based on Mathematics", on Sunday, 20 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H. The activity was held under the supervision of the Deputy Head of the Department, Dr. Saadiyah Muhammad Al-Jadaani, and was attended by the faculty members of the department (female section) and a number of female students.
The activity was opened with a welcoming speech delivered by a female student, who pointed out the important role played by mathematics in our lives and its contributions to human progress, qualifying it to be a locomotive of science. During the event, the students showcased the most prominent applications of mathematics in a number of different professions.
