Introductory Meeting for the Third Secondary School Female Students at the College of Applied Medical Sciences

The College of Applied Medical Sciences, in collaboration with Community Partnership Unit at the Deanship of Student Affairs and the participation of the female students of the Student Club at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, held an introductory meeting for the female third secondary school students (science stream) from different schools in the Makkah region, on Wednesday, 23 October, and Wednesday, 20 November, 2019 A.C. This meeting was held under the auspices and coordination of Ms. Mada Iqab from the Laboratory Medicine Department, and in the presence of Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Ramia Sindi.

The program of the female students meeting included the following:

1. Reception, a summary of the different sections of the meeting, brochure distribution, and giving sweets and drinks to the female students and their supervisors from the Ministry of Education.
2. A speech by Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Ramia Sindi, in which she welcomed the visitors.
3. An explanation of the academic departments of the college, with the participation of the female students and the academic staff members at the college.
4. Introductory tour of the classrooms, laboratories, and the FAMS lounge.

• Dr. Widad Fouad Azhar.
• Female students: Salma Mahir Abdul-Ghani, Shuruq Abdullalh Al-Rajhi, Ranim Marzuq Al-Qurashi, and Anwar Ahmad Al-Usaimi.

Therapeutic Nutrition Department:

• Ms. Samah Tiba.
• Female students: Rana Walid Mikkawi, Manar Usamah Al-Usaimi, Asia Diya Khalid, Saja Ubaidullah Al-Harbi, Asil Fadil Filimban, and Sarah Abdul-Rahman Al-Matrafi.

Physiotherapy Department:

• The two female students Rahaf Al-Hazimi and Haifa Ahmad Zamzami.
