Within the framework of the meeting agenda, scheduled between the Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research and the Department of Studies and Specifications in the General Directorate of Civil Defense, a meeting was conducted between the delegation of the Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research and His Excellency the Director General of Civil Defense, Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Amr, in his office in to order to discuss and explore the means of joint cooperation.

His Excellency the Dean of the Institute and the accompanying delegation met with His Excellency the Assistant Director General of Civil Defense for Planning and Development, Dr. Madi Al-Utaibi, and His Excellency the Director of the Department of Studies and Specifications, Colonel Dr. Ali Al-Shihri, along with a team from the center.

This visit comes as part of a series of joint meetings being conducted with the aim of activating the memorandum of understanding between the General Directorate of Civil Defense, represented by the Department of Studies and Specifications, and Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Institute of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Hajj and Umrah Research.
