Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality, will celebrate the World Quality Day next Thursday, showcasing its qualitative achievements represented in obtaining the institutional accreditation certificate from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, having met the requirements and conditions of quality in relation to the level of standards and performance within the scientific departments and the administrative system.
The ceremony will be sponsored by His Excellency the President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, at King Abdul-Aziz Historical Hall. The University Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship has invited all university employees to participate in celebration of the development achievements, represented in many academic programs being internationally accredited, in addition to the university's institutional accreditation.
On his part, the University Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani bin Uthman Ghazi, stated that the ceremony of the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality comes in celebration of the university obtaining the institutional accreditation certificate, which will contribute to raising the efficiency of the university administrative and academic performance. He referred to the plan of the deanship to continue to work hard to achieve program accreditation for all academic programs during the coming years.
On his part, the Dean of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Muhammad bin Jaafar Thabit, mentioned that the ceremony reflects the university's continuous development towards improving its outcomes by improving its educational and research process in the service of society, and creating a knowledge product that contributes to the achievement of the university's strategic objectives.
