The Public Relations and Media Department organized a meeting entitled, ‘What You Do Not Know about Breast Cancer, and Nobody Has Ever Told You!’ The event was held on Thursday, 3 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., at Al-Jawhara Hall in Al-Zahir (female section).
The meeting was presented by Dr. Arwa bint Fadil Filemban, Associate Professor at the Pathology Department in the College of Medicine, Umm Al-Qura University.
The most prominent goals of this meeting were the early detection of breast cancer, to avoid its complications, and its prevention and treatment, under the slogan, ‘You are Strong, and We are with You’. The meeting was attended by the female academic staff, employees, and students. The event witnessed positive interaction by all attendees.
