The Public Relations and Media Department participated in Sharjah International Book Fair in the United Arab Emirates, which is held under the slogan, "Open a Book, Open Minds", during the period from 30 October till 9 November, 2019 A.C. This book fair is organized by Sharjah Book Authority, with the participation of 2000 publishing houses from 81 countries. The university's participation came within the Saudi Kingdom's pavilion participating in the fair, which incorporates a number of the government bodies.
UQU participated with a distinctive corner displaying scientific and cultural development by briefing the visitors about the book fair's content, including the research and special publications exhibited in the university's corner.
