On Monday, His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, will have an open meeting with the staff of the General Administration of Projects, in King Abdulaziz Historical Hall in Al-Abdiyyah.

The meeting will be held with the aim of presenting the most important achievements which were accomplished during the previous period, and reviewing the strategic plan adopted by the General Administration of Projects in order to provide a suitable educational environment and develop the university cities, in a manner that is in line with the university's vision and mission.

The meeting will also cover the objectives and duties of the departments affiliated with the General Administration of Projects, such as the Projects Department, the Designs Department, the Urgent Projects Department, the Engineering Contracts Department, and the Facilities and Services Department. During the meeting, the attendees will discuss the role of each department in the university environment development system, and will review the procedural guide of the departments affiliated with the General Administration of Projects, the measuring of performance indicators, and the current and proposed organizational structures of the administration.

The project control panel, which displays all information about the performance of the General Administration of Projects, as well as the accreditation of the development program prepared for the engineers during the coming year will be discussed at the gathering.

The former director of the Facilities and Services Department, Engineer Abdullah Al-Jafri, will also be honored for the efforts he exerted during his tenure. Moreover, the qualitative leap achieved in the level of the quality of the services offered at the university environment, and the development of the general facilities of the University City in Al-Abdiyyah as well as in all the university branches will be highlighted.
