Umm Al-Qura University Signs an Academic Memorandum of Understanding with the Arab East College

Umm Al-Qura University concluded a memorandum of understanding with the Arab East College in Riyadh. The memorandum aimed at achieving mutual cooperation between the two entities to create opportunities for those who desire to continue their postgraduate studies in fields required by the government and private labor market, such as in the field of supervision, consultation and execution, by making use of the scientific and human cadres at Umm Al-Qura University.

His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, and His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the General Supervisor of Arab East Colleges, Prof. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Faisal, signed the agreement in the presence of the Vice President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Farid Al-Ghamdi, the Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdul-Wahab Al-Resini, the Program Coordinator, Dr. Subhi Al-Harthi, and a number of officials of the college.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the College praised the role played by Umm Al-Qura University, indicating its being one of the highly prestigious and well-known educational institutions. He also indicated its active participation in qualifying and graduating cadres in different educational fields.

On his part, the President of Umm Al-Qura University welcomed the memorandum, which is based on making use of the abilities and potentials of both sides. He indicated the importance of cooperation between the government and private education in endorsing and promoting educational mobility in the kingdom, and qualifying national cadres to be constructive factors in building this great country.
