The UQU President Honors the Officials in Charge of the Department of Domestic Hajj Affairs

Today, in his office in Al-Abdiyyah, His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, honored the officials in charge of the General Department of Domestic Hajj Affairs at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. This is in recognition of their efforts that led to the success of the initiative entitled, 'Hajj as an Obligation', which was held for the UQU scholarship students in 1440 A.H.

The honoring ceremony was attended by the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; the chairman of the committee concerned with the improvement and development of the services offered to the scholarship students, Prof. Abdul-Wahab Al-Resini; the General Director of the Department of Domestics Hajj Affairs, Mr. Fayez Al-Barakati; and a number of officials in charge of the Department of Domestic Hajj Affairs at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

His Excellency the UQU President expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Department of Domestic Hajj Affairs, referring to their hard work and diligence which enabled the scholarship students to perform the obligation of Hajj easily and smoothly. He also thanked them for their constant cooperation to fulfill the wishes of the scholarship students, and their endeavor to promote consolidation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the other countries of the world.

It is worth mentioning that 50 scholarship students, representing 25 nationalities, performed Hajj during the 1440 A.H. Hajj season, under the supervision of the committee concerned with the improvement and development of services. The UQU President ordered this committee to be formed, aiming at providing the scholarship students with services, in collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. This committee performed its duties out of the sense of social responsibility, which aims at improving and developing the services offered to the guests of Allah.
