In conjunction with the Arab Chemistry Week, the Department of Chemistry (female section) held an event entitled, "The Chemistry as a Puzzle", which included an overview of the most important fields of chemistry and how they can be developed in a manner that fulfills the aspirations of the Saudi Vision 2030. In addition, the department held a training workshop under the title, "Safety Rules in Chemistry Laboratories", which covered the most important safety rules in laboratories and the building encompassing them. The workshop also presented the ways of using the latest electronic fire extinguishers.
