His Excellency the UQU President stressed the importance of the project in linking the university departments together. He also called for the necessity of the cooperation of the project team with each other, believing that the homogeneity of the team and their agreement is the building block of the project's success.

The project supervisor, Dr. Atif Al-Hajaili, gave an introductory presentation in which he explained the progress mechanism of the project, as well as its vision that aims to automate the work of administrative and financial systems, reduce the costs of printing paper, enable fast and easy access to data, and provide the necessary analytical reports to the decision makers.

Moreover, Dr. Al-Hajaili pointed out the importance of the application in improving the performance and efficiency of the workflows within the university. He added that the ‘Wafy’ system will meet the international standards that are in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. This will be achieved following a clear plan and a precise timetable, showing the exact time of the four phases of the project, represented by the start, construction, transition, and production.

The project is based on the Oracle resource system, which is dedicated to managing data and information, using it as a practical database to monitor work performance and improve productivity in government and educational institutions.
