Al-Qunfudah Medicine College organized a workshop to develop a strategic plan titled: (Preparing Strategic Plan for Al-Qunfudah Medicine College).

It was held on Sunday Rabi' Al Awwal 5, 1438H under the auspices of President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas.

Head of the Strategic Planning Department at King Abdulaziz University (KAU) Prof. Ibrahim El Bedeawi gave a presentation in the presence of Dean of KAU Medicine College Dr. Mohamed Shahin, Police Chief Brigadier Safar Al Makaty, Governor of Qunfudah Fada Bin Bayyan Al-Baqami, Head of Education Directorate Dr. Mohamed Al Zahmi and a mixed group of Qunfudah officials, staff members, administrative officials, technicians, and medicine students.

The governor delivered an opening speech to kicked off speaking about achievements and progress made over the past few years including the establishment of the College of Medicine that opens doors for regular and affiliation system students.

The Dean of the KAU Medicine College took the floor addressing the workshop on the importance of convening other meetings to plan for the college's future.

In the same venue, the Dean of Al-Qunfudah Medicine College voiced happiness to welcome the attending group of prestigious personalities and intellectuals who have taken into consideration the internal and external changes and the university strategic plan in light of the Saudi Vision 2030.
