Dr. Hashem al-Samadani, Dean of Admission and Registration, met with Dr. Faisal Ghazzawi, Dean of the College of Da'wa Islamic Theology, at the College’s Meeting Hall, Abediyahh Campus. The two deans were determined to discuss the mechanism of expansion, development of the academic electronic services system, and addition of the Holy Qur’an and Islamic Culture curricula for students at different specializations; as such subjects had been required to be taught to all UQU students.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Faisal Ghazzawi, Dean of the College of Da'wa Islamic Theology, welcomed the Dean, and Vic-Deans, of Admission and Registration. He noted that such initiative for discussion and development of the academic services system was no novelty. He extended deep thanks and gratitude to the Dean, and all the affiliates, of the Admission and Registration Deanship for their unending effort towards academic services system development.

On the other hand, Dr. Hashem al-Samadani, Dean of Admission and Registration, clarified that academic services system development, classroom reservation, and the Holy Qur’an and Islamic Culture curricula addition mechanism as required subjects for all male and female UQU students at different specializations had been discussed. He noted that the Admission and Registration Deanship was considered one of the most significant deanships at UQU. This was because it embraced UQU students from the beginning of their admission and until their graduation. He also stressed that the Deanship was seeking to be auditor-free in order to free students from their need to get back to the Deanship in any academic process, starting from admission until graduation certificate receipt. This would be via the electronic services provided in cooperation with the Deanship of IT. In this context, he noted that the omission and addition mechanisms would be electronically available, while permissions would be allowed through coordination with colleges and departments for the service of UQU male and female students.  In addition, the students would be added to their specializations starting from the first week of study. Finally, Dr. Al-Samadani appreciated the support and attention of the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri bins Maatooq Assas, towards electronic services system development.
