The Intellectual Awareness Unit held a lecture entitled, "Concept of Hakimiyyah [Sovereignty] in Islam". This lecture was delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sa`idi, at Sheikh Omar Al-Sabeel Hall (may Allah be merciful to him) in the College of Shari`ah.
The lecture included a definition of the concept of sovereignty, and its effect on Islamic history. At the end of the meeting, all inquiries and questions pertaining to the topic of the lecture were answered.
