The College of Health Sciences held a meeting with the approved trainer by UMBC University Center for Emergency Medicine, Mr. Husni Al-Shaqifi.
He tackled the duties of emergency medicine, and stressed the importance of ambulance transport. This was in addition to highlighting the skills required in the emergency department and other departments inside the hospital.
The College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah, represented by the Vice Deanship of the College for Hospital Affairs, held an introductory meeting in which they clarified the significance of making use of the internship year and being keen to learn.
During the meeting, the possibility of holding training courses for the fields required in the labor market for internship year students were tackled, in order to develop the students' skills for them to be able to join different healthcare jobs.
