The Education and Training Evaluation Commission will honor Umm Al-Qura University on Thursday at the Third Quality Forum on Higher Education on the occasion of it attaining institutional accreditation. This activity will take place in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al Sheikh, His Excellency the Advisor at the Royal Court and the President of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, Dr. Hamad Al-Eissa, and His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, at the conferences main hall at Fairmont Hotel, Economic Portal, Riyadh.

The university delegate participating in the forum comprises the Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani Ghazi, the Dean of Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Muhammad Thabit, the vice deans of academic development and quality, and a number of experts from the Deanship of Academic Development.

The meeting aims at honoring universities that received institutional and program accreditation and learning about the latest developments in the field of quality and academic accreditation in higher education. It also aims at showing the status of quality and academic accreditation in higher education institutions in the Saudi Kingdom, displaying the best practices in quality matters, and promoting ties between the center and higher education institutions.
