The students of the Department of Accounting at the College of Business Administration learned about the duties of the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) during a tour made by SOCPA to the Saudi universities and its pavilion held at the yard of King Abdulaziz Historical Hall in Al-Abdiyyah, which lasted for two days.
The pavilion was held in conjunction with a forum organized by the students entitled, "Strategy of the Organization and Future of the Profession", which was delivered by the Assistant Secretary-General of the organization, Mr. Muhammad Al-Ghaihab, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Business Administration, Prof. Ihsan Al-Mu`taz, the Head of the Department of Accounting, Dr. Musaab Al-Jaeid, and academic staff members. King Abdulaziz Historical Support Hall (1) was allocated for the male students, and the Ceremonies Hall at the College of Business Administration in Rea Zhakhir was allocated for the female students. During the event, the students learned about the tasks and opportunities of working in the accounting fields.
At the end, the Dean of the College of Business Administration, Prof. Ihsan Al-Mu`taz, honored the Assistant Secretary General of the organization, Mr. Muhammad Al-Ghaihab.
