The Department of Accounting at the College of Business Administration hosted the introductory pavilion of the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) for two days, from Sunday, 30 Muharram to Monday, 1 Safar, 1441 A.H., from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the yard of King Abdulaziz Historical Hall in Al-Abdiyyah.
The pavilion was held in conjunction with a forum organized by the students at 12:00 p.m. entitled, "Strategies for the Organization and Future of the Profession", delivered by the Assistant Secretary General of the organization, Mr. Muhammad Al-Ghaihab. His Excellency the Dean of the College of Business Administration, Prof. Ihsan Al-Mu`taz, the Head of the Department of Accounting, Dr. Musaab Al-Jaeid, and the academic staff members attended the forum. King Abdulaziz Historical Support Hall (1) was allocated for the male students, and the Ceremonies Hall at the College of Business Administration in Rea Zhakhir was allocated for the female students.
At the conclusion, the Dean of the College of Business Administration, Prof. Ihsan Al-Mu`taz, honored the Assistant Secretary General of the organization, Mr. Muhammad Al-Ghaihab.
