In the presence of His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, as well as some vice presidents and a number of the university staff members and students, the Department of Public Relations and Media participated in the organization of the 89th National Day event, which was held in King Abdulaziz Historical Hall on Wednesday, 26 Muharram, 1441 A.H.
His Excellency the President of the University delivered a speech in which he highlighted the achievements and successes attained by the Saudi community. Some vice presidents and students also gave speeches. The event program included an operetta entitled "The Kingdom Has Become a Lighthouse". The ceremony was concluded with the announcement of the winners of the National Day competition.
