The Training Department at the College of Community Service and Continuing Education held a training course entitled, "Intellectual Security and the Promotion of Nationalism", for the staff of the Presidency of State Security. The course was given by the Head of the Training Department, Prof. Salih bin Abdullah Al-Furaih, in Riyadh. The training dealt with a number of issues of intellectual security and the promotion of patriotism related to concepts, trends and causes, as well as the study of real practical cases. The objectives of the training course included emphasizing the contents and characteristics of security policies, and the importance of achieving them.

The course was attended by a number of specialists in the aspects of intellectual security in the presidency. All attendees showed their interest, attention, and their continued interaction with the applications and activities of the course, which affected all attendees and which reflected positively on the outcomes of the course.

At the end of the course, His Excellency Prof. Salih bin Abdullah Al-Furaih, Head of the Training Department, handed the trainees certificates of attendance, expressing his appreciation for the excellence they showed in making beneficial use of the time and interacting with the activities. The trainees also thanked the University of Umm Al-Qura, the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, and the Training Department and its staff for their efforts to make this course successful and to achieve its desired goals.
