His Excellency Dr. Alawi Muhammad Bamahdi, Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, met the technicians of the college on Tuesday, 11 Muharram, 1441 A.H., at 10:00 am., at the college meeting hall. The aim of the meeting was to tackle and discuss the future plans of the college for the academic year 1440/1441 A.H., and the employees' role as technicians in activating and preparing the laboratories of the college as well as looking after the college's resources.

The meeting started with a welcoming speech from His Excellency the Dean, followed by a visual presentation during which he explained the future plans of the college, including the main and secondary goals and how to achieve them. In addition, he clarified the role required from the employees and technicians in preparing the educational environment, in terms of equipping the academic halls, laboratories and the college's library, besides equipping the headquarters of the engineering club at the college and answering queries from the college's students and visitors.

His Excellency the Dean urged the technicians of the college to be sincere, honest and hardworking, and to provide the best and highest quality of services to our dear students to achieve the slogan adopted by His Excellency UQU's President, i.e. to delight the student. He also urged them to offer all the job, administrative and technical expertise they have in serving the student and the educational process in the college.

At the end of the meeting, he asked Allah to grant everyone progress and success, in both words and deeds.
