His Excellency UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, has issued an administrative decision, based on the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Education, to appoint His Excellency Prof. Abdul-Wahab bin Abdullah bin Salih Al-Resini as University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research for a tenure of three years, from 16 Muharram, 1441 A.H. His Excellency Prof. Abdullah asks Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to help Prof. Abdul-Wahab and grant him success in performing his duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of this University to enable it to reach its desired goals.

His Excellency's decision is part of the comprehensive development that the university is witnessing in all fields. It is also part of the university's earnest endeavors to achieve its goals, fulfill its vision, and accomplish its future mission in order to be the leader in terms of its various programs and activities that are in harmony with the Saudi Vision 2030.

On his part, His Excellency Prof. Abdul-Wahab Al-Resini expressed his appreciation for the trust that the UQU President bestowed on him. He pointed out that he will seek to gain his confidence and will work hard to provide his scientific, administrative, and academic expertise to improve the educational environment of the university and its branches so that it can be a unique model and can keep up with international universities.
