At 10 a.m. on Thursday 6 Muharran 1441 A.H., His Excellency Dr. Alawi bin Muhammad Bamahdi, Dean of the College of Engineering in Al-Qunfudhah, chaired a meeting with the college employees in the college meeting hall. The meeting was held to discuss the college's plans for the academic year 1440-1441 A.H.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Dean delivered a speech in which he welcomed the employees. This was followed with a speech delivered by the Administrative Director, Mr. Saad Abdullah Al-Muhammad, in which he clarified that it is important for the employees to carry out their duties and help provide superior services to the college's students, affiliates, and visitors. In addition, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Engineering made a visual presentation in which he outlined the college's future plans, the primary and secondary objectives, and how to achieve them. He also clarified the role that should be implemented by the employees for them to create a suitable educational environment. Their duties include preparing the classrooms and the college library, equipping the headquarters of the Engineering Club, and answering questions from the college's students and visitors.

His Excellency urged the employees to show sincerity, honesty, and diligence, and to provide superior services to the students in order to fulfill the UQU President's slogan of "Making the Student Happy." His Excellency also urged the employees to harness their work and administrative experience in a manner that serves the college's students as well as the educational process.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency asked Allah to grant everyone progress and success in their words and deeds.
